# Workflow Inbox

> Curate a sidebar of the workflow inboxes you care about, review work grouped by channel, and approve stage advances in place.

## What Is the Inbox?

The Workflow Inbox is the operational hub for managing active work across your project. Rather than a single view you switch between workflows in, you curate a sidebar of the workflow inboxes that matter to you and see them together. Access it from **Inbox** in your project navigation.

***

## Your Inbox Sidebar

Each person builds their own sidebar of pinned workflow inboxes. Click **Manage inboxes** to add or remove workflows from your sidebar with **Add workflow**.

Every pinned inbox shows a live count of the work waiting in it, and expands to reveal what is inside. Counts update as work moves, so you can leave the sidebar open and watch the queue change.

Your pinned inboxes, which ones are expanded, and each inbox's view preference are saved per project and per person — your sidebar looks the same the next time you return, and does not affect anyone else's.

### Stage View and Issues View

Each pinned inbox can be viewed one of two ways, set per workflow:

* **Stages** — the inbox expands into the workflow's full stage ladder, each stage with its own count. Use this when you care where in the process work is sitting.
* **Issues** — the inbox collapses to **My Issues** and **Active Issues** rows, and you pick stages from the toolbar instead. Use this when you care what is assigned to you rather than which stage it is in.

By default, stages with no work are hidden. Turn on **Include empty stages** for an inbox from **Manage inboxes** to always show the full ladder.

## Reviewing Work

### Grouped by Channel

Within a stage, threads are grouped by the channel they belong to, each with a status icon showing where it stands. Because a channel can hold several threads working toward one objective, grouping keeps related work together instead of scattering it down a flat list.

A channel shows how many threads it contains, and you can open the full channel from the group.

### Master-Detail Review

Select a thread to open its full conversation beside the list, without losing your place in the inbox. From there you can read the conversation history and the agent's reasoning, approve a transition to the next stage, add notes or redirect the agent, and fork the conversation.

### Approving a Stage Advance

When a channel has proposed moving to the next stage, an **Approve** action appears on that channel so you can advance it in place. The action only appears when an advance is actually proposed, so anything showing an approve control genuinely needs a decision from you.

Each proposal shows the current stage, the target stage, the agent's explanation for why it is ready, and a suggested approver.

## Filtering

### View Filters

| Filter | Shows |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| **Active** | All non-archived work |
| **My Issues** | Work where you contributed or need to approve |
| **Archived** | Completed or archived work |

### Time Range

Narrow results by time: **All Time**, **Today**, **Last 7 days**, **Last 14 days**, or **Last 30 days**.

### Search

Use the search bar to find threads by name or ticket key. If a thread was created from a ticket, you can search by the ticket identifier (for example, `PROJ-456`) as well as the thread's title.

## Bulk Actions

Click **Bulk Actions** to approve or archive multiple items at once.

* **Bulk Approve** — select work that needs approval, review or change the target stage for each, and approve it all in one action
* **Bulk Archive** — select archivable work and archive it together

Each entry in the bulk dialog shows its current stage, the suggested next stage, and any explanation or suggested approver.
